This is in accordance with President Patrick Herminie's commitment to reopen the 海角在线免费 within the first 100 days of his five-year term.

Vice President Sebastien Pillay, who holds the information portfolio, inaugurated the new website, which features a redesigned look. The inauguration was done with an online presence of Maxim Behar, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria, hosting the website.

The Department of Information have tasked Ms Betymie Bonnelame, former English Editor and Mr Rassin Vannier, former French Editor, with rebuilding the SNA over the next six months, before the agency fully resumes its operations.

The new administration hopes that Seychelles can once again open itself to the world, allowing a broad public free access to news from the archipelago.

The SNA officially began operations in April 2014 and was shut down in December 2024 when the former government decided to cease its operations.

The address will be broadcast live on SBC 1, Telesesel, and Radyo Sesel.

This will be the first State of the Nation Address of President Herminie, who was sworn in as the sixth President of Seychelles in a national ceremony at Unity Stadium听on October 26 in 2025.听

In his inaugural address, the President outlined an ambitious and inclusive vision rooted in social justice, equal opportunity, and national unity, guided by the philosophy of "For the many, not the few."

Dans son discours d鈥檌nvestiture, le chef de l鈥櫭塼at devrait passer en revue les d茅fis 脿 surmonter et les r茅alisations des 100 premiers jours de son mandat.
